All Natural Homemade Goat Milk Formula Recipe~ my baby loves it!

Hi Mommas! I'd love to share the awesome goat milk formula recipe that I discovered and used when weaning my baby Juniper off of breast milk. I fully breastfed June up until she was about 10 months old. At this point I was already a few months into my second pregnancy and my body was giving me signs that it could use a break between breastfeeding my two babes. I was getting weak and tired and Juniper was energetic and drinking more and more of me everyday. I visited every health food store I knew of and read the ingredients of their "healthy" formulas and could not get myself to feed any of them to my daughter. There are so many horrible unneeded additives to them all including corn syrup solids, fillers, preservatives, and artificial flavorings. I was loosing hope and energy in my search for a healthy formula, continuing to breastfeed Juniper as she needed me.

Thankfully my wonderful mother in-law was also doing research and found an incredible recipe by Mt. Capra, founded by a father of 5 beautiful children, who owned a goat ranch and came up with this recipe himself. His goal was to create a formula that resembles mothers breast milk as closely as he could. He did a wonderful job! After reading about it on his site, www.mtcapra.com, I ordered all of the ingredients and made a batch as soon as I could. Juniper drank it! I was so relieved. I began by giving Juniper one bottle of this homemade formula every evening to get her used to it. Some days she loved it, other days she denied it and cried until I breastfed her. Within about a month of being consistent she had fully adjusted to the formula and weaned off of my breast milk. It wasn't easy, but it also wasn't rocket science. I highly recommend this recipe and product. I am still giving this milk to Juniper, now 14 months old, and she loves it. I feel good about giving this to her as it provides her with essential nutrients, proteins, and healthy fats.

Click here to visit Mt. Capra's website where you can read their story, full info and descriptions of the recipe, order from their family owned farm, and find the full recipe. Please feel free to ask me any questions regarding the recipes and I can share what worked for me with hopes of helping you find something that works for you and your little babe~

Best of luck Mommies! Consistency, belief, love, and support. I am here for you!

Lots of love,
Mommy Misty Jame and Baby Juniper Jame~
